I. Blender, Ph.D. Principal: Dennis has broad industry experiences, with
particular insights in service-oriented companies, manufacturing, education,
and not-for-profit organizations. He has worked with family-owned businesses,
and is able to provide the appropriate balance between the needs of family
members with the pragmatic needs of the business. Dennis was a Partner at Plante & Moran,
LLP, in the Management Consulting Services Group. He also worked in public
education and community mental health organizations. He earned a Ph.D. from
Wayne State University in Educational Psychology, an M.S. in Rehabilitation
Counseling from Boston University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Ohio University.
Dennis is a licensed psychologist. Dennis lives in Bloomfield Hills Michigan with
his wife, Anita, and daughters, Katie and Abbey. On
weekends, he spends time in the garden or kitchen baking breads, making soup,
and reading. His adventurous spirit leads to periodic journeys, trekking in
various parts of the world. Professional

Dennis Blender, Ph.D. has over 15 years of psychological
consulting experience in organizational development, team dynamics, and facilitation.
Dennis has coordinated leadership development activities for senior executives
in order to enhance their performance and maximize results. He has
extensive experiences in assisting individuals determine and realize their
career aspirations by incorporating the skills of reflection and inquiry with
real business results.
Dennis has particular strengths in team building/facilitation, strategic planning,
conflict resolution, and planning/problem solving. He has conducted organizational
culture analysis to determine strengths, weaknesses, and recommendations for
improvement. He is extremely proficient at assisting organizations determine
their core purpose and core values, and align their values with systems and
behavior.
